MEET THE LAURAS
We first worked together years ago, side by side in busy recruitment teams handling everything from one-off placements to complex, high-volume campaigns. We learnt early on that we saw things differently – and that this difference worked.
One of us is measured. The other is instinctive. One questions, one pushes. Between us, we cover the ground that matters. It means our clients get advice that’s balanced, thoughtful and grounded in real-world experience.
When we launched The Recruiters Room in 2016, we did it with a simple belief: recruitment should feel straightforward. You should know where you stand. You should be treated with honesty. And you should get a service shaped around what you actually need, not what fits a rigid process.
Today, most of our clients see us as an extension of their own business. That trust is something we value deeply – and it’s at the heart of everything we do.

Laura has worked across both permanent and temporary recruitment, but it was the permanent side that quickly became her focus. She’s spent years building a deep understanding of the commercial market and is known for her determination, attention to detail and ability to spot strong talent quickly. Those qualities shape much of what The Recruiters Room stands for today.
When asked what drives her approach, Laura keeps it simple:

Laura has more than ten years’ experience in permanent recruitment and has built a reputation for forming strong, long-lasting relationships with the organisations she supports. She takes the time to understand what each business needs, keeps communication clear and follows through until the right person is in place. It’s this consistent, steady approach that helps clients stay with The Recruiters Room year after year.
